Job summary

Lifeways is seeking a Registered Manager for our Supported Living service in Peterborough (Haddon Court). You will lead a skilled team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care for people with learning disabilities and autism, helping them develop life skills and independence.

You will ensure consistent, compassionate care, maintain excellent CQC standards, and drive service improvements. A valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel locally are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification; Level 5 desirable.
• Strong operational and people management experience.
• Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel locally.

Registered Manager: Supported Living

Location: Peterborough (Haddon Court)

Haddon Court is focused on teaching people life skills, with the aim of people moving into the community and living independently. The main skills we teach people include meal preparation, medication, accessing services, handling bills and money, and helping people understand acceptable social behaviour. At Haddon Court, people choose how they spend their time. Trips to the coast, tourist attractions, Hunstanton and dog racing are favourites.

We're looking for a leader who:

• Has a strong track record with Care Quality Commission (CQC), including achieving and maintaining Good or Outstanding ratings.
• Has experience improving or turning around services and embedding strong quality and governance.
• Is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care for people with complex and profound learning and physical disabilities.
• Can lead, inspire, and develop a skilled care team to deliver exceptional support.
• Is committed to individualised care, dignity, independence, and meaningful outcomes for every person supported.

In this role, you will:

• Support, inspire, and develop your team of support workers, team leaders and a deputy manager to deliver outstanding care and support within this purpose built care home.
• Oversee the delivery of high-quality care and support for individuals with learning disabilities, autism, challenging behaviours, and physical disabilities, each with their own unique and complex needs.
• Drive service improvements and quality standards.
• Build strong relationships with your team, families, and communities.

You'll lead with purpose, inspire your teams, and deliver the highest standards of care while shaping the future of services.

What You'll Bring

• A minimum Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care with Level 5 being desirable (or working towards it).
• Strong experience in operational and people management.
• A valid UK driver's licence and willingness to travel locally.
• A genuine passion for quality care — and the ability to lead by example.
