Elysium Healthcare at Barnet Lane Clinic in Elstree, Borehamwood invites an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) to deliver high-quality care to adults with complex needs. You’ll work within a multidisciplinary team, promoting safety, compassion and evidence-based practice.

What you will be doing

As a qualified Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) , you will ensure people with complex needsreceive high-quality care, while also supporting your colleagues and promoting positive teamwork.

The wards are busy, with plenty to keep you engaged and motivated, and a good amount of routine and variety. Your day-to-day will include:

• Providing high-quality, effective and compassionate nursing care to service users
• Being responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care
• Providing mentorship and support to team members
• Observing, recording and reporting all service user changes, and maintaining accurate records of care provided

Skills and knowledge you will have:

• A relevant nursing qualification
• NMC registration
• Experience working with patients with EUPD or ASD
• Strong team-workingskillsA high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach

Barnet Lane's Complex Care and Recovery Service (CCRS) is a highly specialised, bespoke inpatient adult service designed to support individuals whose needs exceed the scope of traditional inpatient service models. The service specialises in treating patients who have experienced multiple or prolonged admissions, stalled discharge pathways, or who have been unable to progress within conventional care environments.
