Job Description:

Your new role: Band 5-6 Registered General Nurses

Working hours: Shifts negotiable with the service

Start Date: ASAP – ongoing, rota available until July

As part of the dedicated team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality healthcare to inmates at HMP Lowdham Grange.

Responsibilities include:

• Respond promptly to and attend emergency calls within the prison.
• Work in the prison reception, completing initial assessments and supporting new arrivals.
• Hold nurse-led clinics, delivering high-quality care to prisoners with various healthcare needs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safety and well-being of all patients.

To succeed in this role, you must meet the following criteria:

• Registered General Nurse (RGN) with valid NMC registration.
• Previous experience in a prison and valid clearance (prison clearance not provided).
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
