Bupa Dermatology is seeking a Staff Nurse (RGN) in a clinic setting to deliver dermatology care. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, supervise juniors, and support dermatology procedures with clinicians.

• Phlebotomy and administration of drugs as prescribed by medical staff

Responsibilities

• Support patient pathways in Dermatology and participate in treatment and monitoring of patients
• Supervise and demonstrate procedures for junior staff
• Assist Dermatologists and Surgeons with dermatology procedures and skin care surgery
• Plan and organise workload to meet clinic and patient needs
• Ensure compliance with clinic policies and procedures
• Assist in outpatient clinics
• Check referral letters, results and X-rays for clinical sessions
• Support community dermatology clinic with education and resources for patients and families
• Perform full skin assessments including dermoscopy where necessary
• Provide nursing care including dressing, wound care and suturing/clips removal
• Assist and chaperone patients during examinations and procedures
• Support with procedures like fine needle aspirations and biopsies
• Contribute to phototherapy, cryotherapy, acne clinics and patch testing clinics
• Assist in minor surgery and audits/triage of results and referrals
