Job summary

Dovehaven Care Homes in Birch Abbey, Southport, is seeking a Registered General Nurse (days or nights) to provide high-quality clinical care and to lead the care team within a nurturing, family-run home.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll work closely with the care team to deliver exceptional clinical care and ensure every resident's individual care plan is met with professionalism and compassion.

This includes:

• Delivering high-quality, person-centred nursing care
• Advising, guiding, and supporting the wider care team
• Administering medication safely and accurately
• Monitoring residents' nutritional and dietary needs
• Supporting wound care, infection control, and pressure area care
• Reviewing and completing care documentation accurately
• Ensuring clinical interventions are clearly recorded
• Leaving concise and personalised instructions for ongoing care
• Leading by example to promote a safe environment for residents and staff
• Building positive relationships with residents and families

• Have strong leadership and communication skills
• Have good time management and organisational abilities
