Requirements
  • You must have a valid UK Registered Nurse Qualification (RGN)
  • Active UK NMC PIN
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathy and compassion towards patients.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in patient care.
  • Willingness to learn continuously and improve clinical skills.
  • An RGN or RMN, with experience in a care home setting caring for older people.
  • You will have a kind and caring approach with a passion for delivering the highest possible standard of care and support for the residents.
  • You will have excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Here’s some of your tasks:

  • You will dispense and administer medication to residents as prescribed, accurately maintaining appropriate records
  • You will carry out stock control and ordering of resident’s prescribed medication and medical products
  • You’ll need to understand and comply with all statutory and legal requirements that are relevant such as Health and Safety, COSHH, and all aspects of the care Standards Act.
  • Assessing and evaluating patients' mental health conditions.
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans.
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitoring and recording patients' progress and vital signs.
  • Providing emotional support and guidance to patients and their families.
