Job Title: Registered Manager

Salary:

£50,000 to £60,000 depending on qualifications and experience

Job Purpose:

The role involves managing the day-to-day operations of the children's home, including leadership, staff support, and decision-making within delegated authority and policies. The manager will develop a balanced program considering social, care, and educational needs of young people, providing leadership across the home's disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Information and Communications Technology: Apply company policies to electronic and physical records, use basic technology for communication, generate reports, analyze data, and utilize business software proficiently.
  2. Communication: Keep the team informed, share information openly, encourage discussion, and communicate clearly and positively.
  3. Business Alignment: Maintain relationships with authorities and understand sector initiatives impacting the business.
  4. Leadership & Team Working: Promote organizational excellence, delegate tasks, ensure safe systems of work, and manage risks effectively.
  5. Data Protection/Confidentiality: Comply with data legislation, maintain confidentiality, and stay updated on relevant policies.
  6. Flexibility & Adaptability: Engage in continuous development, support change initiatives, and promote new policies and procedures.
