Purosearch Ltd. is seeking an experienced Domiciliary Care Manager to lead a growing homecare service in Watford. You will oversee care delivery, regulatory compliance and the day-to-day management of staff to ensure exceptional care for clients at home.

The role requires strong leadership, CQC knowledge and a proven track record in domiciliary care management, with the ability to grow the branch and maintain high standards of service.

Domiciliary Care Manager / Homecare Manager – Watford

£40000-45,000 per annum + Bonus

Are you an experienced and passionate Domiciliary Care Manager or Homecare Manager ready to take the next step in your leadership career? We are seeking a dedicated professional to lead and develop our high-quality home care service in Watford, ensuring outstanding care delivery, full compliance, and a supportive working environment for both staff and clients.

The Role

As a Domiciliary Care Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management, growth, and regulatory compliance of our home care service. This Homecare Manager position offers you the opportunity to shape and deliver compassionate, person-centred care that empowers people to live independently in their own homes. The branch is still in its early growth phase and will require a strong manager to grow and build the branch and team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, motivate, and manage a team of coordinators, supervisors, and carers as an effective domiciliary care manager.
• Ensure full CQC compliance and maintain “Good” or “Outstanding” inspection ratings.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention of care staff.
• Develop care plans and monitor the quality of service as a proactive homecare manager.
• Build strong relationships with clients, families, and local authorities.
• Drive business growth and maintain high standards of care delivery.

About You

To succeed as a Domiciliary Care Manager or Homecare Manager, you must have:

• Proven domiciliary care experience in a management or senior leadership position.
• An NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (Leadership & Management) or be working towards it.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and best practices in home care.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and people management skills.
• A genuine passion for providing high-quality, person-centred care.
• Be based / local to Croydon or Sutton boroughs of London.
• Hold a UK Driving License and have access to your own vehichle
• You’ll be a confident, hands‑on domiciliary care manager who thrives on responsibility and leading by example.
