Job summary

McCarthy & Stone is seeking a Registered Care Manager for Cartwright Court in Malvern, Worcestershire. You will lead the day-to-day care delivery and operations, ensuring residents enjoy independence with dignity and a vibrant lifestyle.

As the Registered Care Manager, you will provide strong leadership to the care team, ensure high standards and compliance with CQC regulations and company policies while supporting occupancy and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care is required.
• Experience in managing a care or housing-with-care service.
• Knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent people management and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the development ensuring high-quality care and support.
• Lead, inspire and supervise a dedicated care team.
• Maintain CQC compliance and manage audits, quality checks, and safeguarding.
• Collaborate with Sales and Rentals Teams to promote occupancy and community engagement.
• Manage budgets and ensure financial processes are followed.
• Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external professionals.
• Promote wellbeing and independence through tailored support and activities.
