Job summary

Care Outlook Ltd is seeking a Registered Manager to lead our Highwood Mill extra care scheme in Horsham. You will run the service daily, manage rotas, care planning, staffing and budgets, and hold the CQC registration for the service.

You will develop person-centred care plans, monitor quality through audits and spot checks, recruit and develop staff, report safeguarding concerns, and work with commissioners and health professionals to grow the scheme.

Qualifications

• At least three years of management experience in domiciliary care, extra care or a similar setting.
• Working knowledge of CQC regulations and the Health and Social Care Act 2008.
• Willingness to register with CQC as the Registered Manager for this scheme.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every resident has a person-centred care plan that reflects their choices and is reviewed regularly.
• Monitor quality through spot checks, medication audits and observations, and act on findings.
• Recruit, supervise, train and develop the team.
• Report safeguarding concerns without delay and ensure investigations are completed.
• Submit statutory notifications to CQC on time and keep the scheme inspection ready.
• Maintain staff files, training records and compliance records.
• Collaborate with commissioners, social workers, health professionals and families.

• Submit statutory notifications to CQC on time and keep the scheme inspection ready
• Keep staff files, training records and compliance records complete and up to date
• Work with commissioners, social workers, health professionals and families
• Work with your Regional Manager to grow the service and meet agreed targets
• Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care Leadership and Management, or equivalent, or working towards it
• At least three years of management experience in domiciliary care, extra care or a similar setting
• Working knowledge of CQC regulations and the Health and Social Care Act 2008
• Willingness to register with CQC as the Registered Manager for this scheme
• Full UK driving license

Candidates with previous job titles or experience, including Care Manager, Registered Care Manager, Domiciliary Care Manager, Deputy Care Manager, & Care Service Manager, will also be considered.
