Registered Care Manager Responsibilities:

• To take overall responsibility for the operational performance and care delivery of the service, reporting directly to the Director.
• To maintain strong, effective communication and relationships with local authorities and commissioning bodies.
• To proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking and building partnerships with healthcare professionals and other referral sources.
• To create personalised care plans, ensuring ongoing safety, quality, and compliance with best practice standards.
• To support with the recruitment and onboarding process of care workers.
• To ensure robust compliance with regulatory standards, including the accuracy of care records and documentation.
• To have a working understanding of the Care Act and CQC’s Essential Standards.

Registered Care Manager Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Deputy Manager in a domiciliary or live-in care setting.
• Achieved or currently working towards a Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Leadership and Management).
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
