Job summary

Harbour Healthcare is seeking an experienced Home Manager for a 40+ bedded Nursing and Dementia care home in Leek. You will lead a high-performing team, ensuring person-centred care, strong governance and compliance with CQC rules.

You will drive occupancy and quality while fostering a warm, professional culture. The ideal candidate brings clinical and operational excellence and a passion for delivering outstanding care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a management role
• Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification required
• Experience managing a 40+ bedded Nursing and Dementia care home
• Strong clinical and operational background
• Experience commissioning or supporting newly opened services
• Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations
• Passionate about delivering outstanding care

About The Role

As Home Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading the home with compassion, professionalism and vision. You will inspire your team to deliver person-centred care of the very highest standard while ensuring the home remains fully compliant, commercially successful and a warm, welcoming environment for residents and families alike.

You will use your clinical and operational expertise to:

• Lead and develop a high-performing care team

We are looking for an experienced and motivated leader who:

• Has a minimum of 2 years experience in a management role
• Holds a Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification
• Has experience managing a 40+ bedded Nursing and Dementia care home
• Has a strong clinical and operational background
• Has experience commissioning or supporting newly opened services
• Has excellent knowledge of CQC regulations
• Is passionate about delivering outstanding care
• Is a confident people leader who motivates and develops teams
• Leads with warmth, integrity and professionalism
