Job summary

St Andrews Nursing and Care Home in Sleaford, NG34, is seeking a Registered Home Manager. You will lead a home supported by a Clinical Lead and a Deputy, ensuring high standards of care and full occupancy. We offer a top quartile salary (£48,000–£58,000), annual pay rises up to 20%, and a 15% SMART objectives bonus.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care Management or RN registration required.
• Two years in a manager/deputy role preferred.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Computer literacy including email, Excel and Word.
• Must live within 30 minutes drive.
• NVQ Level 7 preferred for career progression.

Responsibilities

• Lead the home to deliver the highest standards of resident care.
• Ensure full occupancy and regulatory compliance at all times.
• Work with Clinical Lead and Deputy to support care delivery and governance.
• Develop and motivate staff to meet Jasmine Healthcare’s mission and aims.
• Represent the home in All CQC inspections and internal reviews.

• CQC Registration Bonus £1,000 is paid on your successful registration with CQC

A little about St Andrew's Nursing and Care Home:

St Andrew’s is located in the lovely village of Ewerby (5 miles to the East of Sleaford).The home is set around a lovely old vicarage, whichhas been selectively extended in keeping with its character.This provides the homeliness that Jasmine seeks for its homes, whilst still providing modern living accommodation.The homeprovides personal care, including nursing and dementia care, for 42 residents.

The home Manager is supported by both a Clinical Lead and a largely Supernumery Deputy Manager.

Day to Day Responsibilities for Home Manager:

To achieve Jasmine’s Mission and Aims in the home you manage by:

• Doing everything you can to develop, motivate, and improve the wellbeing of your team
• Ensuring all your residents are provided with the highest standards of care and your home is fully compliant; and
• Ensuring your home is full at all times

Essential Requirements for Home Manager:

• Minimum of 6 months experience as a Home Manager of a residential / nursing home or 2 years as a Supernumery Deputy Manager
• NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care Management (or a registered nurse)
• Full Driving Licence
• Computer literacy (particularly email, excel spreadsheets and word documents)
• Must live within 30minutes drive per google maps

Preferred Requirements for Home Manager:

• Two years’ experience as a Manager of a residential / nursing home
• NVQ Level 7 in Health & Social Care
