Remarkable Jobs Limited is recruiting on behalf of a respected independent Building Control Approver to appoint Registered Building Inspectors (Class 2A & Class 2B) in Birmingham. The role involves ensuring projects comply with Building Regulations, providing professional guidance, and delivering high-quality inspection reports across residential and commercial schemes in England.
Ideal candidates hold Class 2A/2B registration, possess strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations, and demonstrate
Qualifications
- Registration as a Class 2A or Class 2B Registered Building Inspector.
- Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
- Experience across residential and/or commercial developments.
- Full UK driving licence.
Responsibilities
- Carry out plan assessments and site inspections.
- Ensure compliance with Building Regulations and associated legislation.
- Provide technical guidance to clients, architects, developers and contractors.
- Produce inspection reports and issue certification.
- Manage your own portfolio of projects.
- Deliver an excellent customer experience throughout the construction process.
