Qualifications

• BSR registration of class 2A (minimum) for plan checking and site inspection.
• Conversant with Building Inspector Competence Framework and relevant legislation.
• Private or local authority Building Control experience.
• Proven ability to manage a caseload of regional building control works at various build stages.
• Current, valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Cover the Brighton area as a registered Building Inspector.
• Perform plan checking and site inspections for residential and commercial projects.
• Manage caseloads and coordinate with clients and teams.
• Ensure compliance with Building Control regulations.

Our Role

We are looking for a registered Building Inspector to assist in covering the Brighton area. We are keen to speak to customer focused Building Inspectors with plan checking and site inspection experience in residential and commercial projects.

You will need

• BSR registration of class 2A as a minimum, for plan checking and site inspection
• Conversant with relevant legislation, technical guidance and the Building Inspector Competence Framework
• Previous private/ local authority Building Control experience
• Demonstrable building control case management (portfolio of work)
• Ability to manage a caseload of regional building control works at different stages of build
• Current valid driving licence
