Knorr-Bremse Rail Systems (UK) Ltd. in the UK IT team invites an IT professional to support a growing business. You will work on legacy migrations, implement new processes for efficiency, and contribute to business intelligence initiatives.
Beyond project work, you’ll perform general IT support, VMware and Cisco switch administration, and engage with colleagues across the business to deliver reliable IT services.

Within the role, you will be a key part of the UK IT team supporting a growing business. We have key legacy systems needing migration and requests to implement new processes to improve efficiency and productivity. The business is also hungry for business intelligence. Whilst you won’t be doing this on your own you will be helping the team to manage these projects to completion.
This is an excellent time to join KB IT as we will be going through a transformational time with the move to Cloud applications and SaaS. In addition to the projects there will be a day job and that will consist of general IT support ranging from walking the floor and building laptops through to VMware Administration and Cisco switch administration. This is a great opportunity to visit all areas of the business and to get an understanding of what they do. Meeting colleagues you wouldn’t normally meet.
