Job summary

Regional Technician is needed in the Birmingham region for an market-leading commercial interiors business. You will travel to client sites, maintain indoor and outdoor plant displays, and provide excellent customer service while building lasting relationships.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites around the Birmingham area.
• Visit 2–6 sites per day depending on workload.
• Begin journeys as early as 6–6:30am on some days.
• Maintain interior and exterior plant displays across client sites.
• Deliver excellent customer service and build strong client relationships.
• Complete site reports and update company systems.
• Identify plant health issues and maintain high presentation standards.
• Work safely and follow company procedures.

We're recruiting on behalf of a market-leading commercial interiors business that specialises in providing office space with landscaping and planting displays.

This specialist works with some of the UK's most recognisable brands to create greener, healthier and more inspiring workspaces.

As a Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining indoor and outdoor plant displays across a portfolio of client sites throughout the Birmingham region. This is a field-based role offering plenty of autonomy, variety and customer interaction.

The Role

• Travelling to customer sites around the Birmingham area
• You could visit 2-6 sites a day depending on workload and location
• Some days will require an earlier start when you will begin your journey 6-6:30am
• Maintain and care for interior and exterior plant displays
• Visit multiple client sites daily
• Deliver excellent customer service and build strong client relationships
• Complete site reports and update company systems
• Identify plant health issues and maintain high presentation standards
• Work safely and follow all company procedures

About You

• Previous planting technician experience is highly desirable
• Otherwise we would be looking for landscaping, garden centre maintenance or facilities maintenance experience
• Strong customer service and communication skills is essential due to being client facing
• Passion for plants, horticulture or the outdoors
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
• Positive, proactive and solutions-focused
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Comfortable driving a company van around city centre
• Able to travel across Birmingham and surrounding areas
• Happy with a physically active role and occasional early starts
