Job summary

Clarke Energy Limited is seeking a Regional SHEQ Lead for the South region (Midlands, Southern England and South Wales). You will champion health, safety, environment, and quality across construction and service projects, travelling 2–3 days per week to project sites and supporting continuous improvement.

The role requires NEBOSH certification, strong leadership, and ability to work across multiple sites while ensuring highest safety standards. Hybrid working options are available.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (or equivalent) required.
• Experience leading SHEQ on live construction/sites projects.
• Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation (CDM 2015) and quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site SHEQ leadership across live construction and service projects.
• Ensure compliance with UK/Irish HSE legislation, client standards and internal policies.
• Coach Site Managers and PMs to foster ownership of SHEQ and safety culture.
• Lead investigations into incidents and drive corrective actions.
• Support audit preparation and ISO certification efforts (ISO 45001, 9001, 14001).
