Job summary

The Resolute Group Ltd is recruiting a Health and Safety/SHE/SHEQ Manager to support a portfolio of major projects across the North of Scotland, with responsibilities spanning Inverness and multiple live locations.

Based in Inverness with travel across project sites regionally, the role focuses on leading safety leadership, driving behavioural safety, and ensuring compliance with UK legislation and client requirements on major civil engineering and construction projects.

Qualifications

• IOSH or equivalent SH&E qualification.
• Experience in a major contractor or large-project environment.
• Experience supporting large and complex construction or civil engineering projects.
• Willingness to travel across the North of Scotland.
• Strong knowledge of UK SH&E legislation and industry best practice.
• Experience carrying out accident and incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Previous experience leading, coordinating or mentoring SHE team members.
• Strong client and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead SHE performance across a portfolio of major projects.
• Support multiple sites across the region to ensure consistent SHE standards.
• Drive safety culture and ensure project teams take ownership of safe working practices.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety and environmental legislation, company procedures and client requirements.
• Lead investigations into accidents, incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and ensuring lessons learned are implemented.
• Monitor SHE reports, analyse performance data and identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Manage stakeholders including clients, contractors, suppliers and wider project stakeholders.
• Provide SHE input into bids, tenders and prequalification submissions.
• Develop the team and contribute to broader business improvement initiatives.
