Job Opportunity: Regional Service Engineer at Nationwide Platforms

This is an excellent opportunity for a Service Engineer to join the team at Nationwide Platforms in a Regional role.

As a Regional Service Engineer, you will provide engineering support, ensuring that the fleet within the region is maintained, repaired, and serviced to a high standard expected by the customer. The role requires flexibility to travel between depots and occasional overnight stays.

Responsibilities include:

1. Support engineering depots within the region.
2. Repair machines at depots or on-site as required, ensuring conformance with manufacturer specifications and company policies.
3. Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDI) of machines at client premises and depots, adhering to manufacturer’s specifications, company policies, and regulations.
4. Ensure machines are free of deficiencies or defects that could affect safe operation; notify management of any unsafe equipment.
5. Complete planned maintenance activities and maintain the fleet's appearance to corporate standards.
6. Accurately complete all relevant paperwork, including engineer’s reports, off-hire/pre-delivery inspections, and service sheets.

About you:

• Relevant engineering experience within the powered access industry.
• Experience in plant, diesel engineering, auto electrics, hydraulics, and fault diagnostics.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure.
• Good interpersonal skills and understanding of excellent customer service.
• Strong organizational, time management skills, and commercial awareness.
• Flexibility for travel and occasional overnight stays, as this is a regional role.
