We exist to make a positive difference – to the working lives of our members and ultimately to standards in patient care. Our employees are drawn from many walks of life – we are nurses, marketers and communicators, administrators, IT professionals, policy and finance experts, lawyers… together we are so much more. We couldn’t do what we do without our people.

The role

As our Regional Service Administrator, you’ll use your enthusiasm, your positivity and your customer service skills to deliver an exceptional service to our members.

In this varied role every day will be filled with possibilities. You will get involved in anything from providing admin support for member and officer enquiries and casework, including diary management, to supporting planning and delivery of regional events, branch meetings, conferences and campaigns. We’ll look to you to complete a variety of tasks on a day-to-day basis, involving both internal and external stakeholders. You’ll be a key member of the team and the first point of contact to help support our members.

The person

As a Regional Service Administrator, you’ll use your positive attitude and your administrative skills to support the regional patch teams, as well as meeting demands of tight deadlines and a fast-paced work environment. In the role you’ll need to be organised, able to work within tight deadlines and have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office. You need to be able to work without supervision, have excellent time management skills and exceptional communication and customer service skills. We’ll look to you to deliver excellent customer service consistently on the various channels that members are able to contact us. It’s a great way to build your skills and experience and develop your potential.

To succeed at the Royal College of Nursing all you need to do is think bigger, better and brighter. And with an attitude like that, anything’s possible.
