Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced Regional Operations Manager to oversee security operations across multiple locations in the UK. The role focuses on safety, service delivery, and leadership of the security team.

You will conduct risk assessments, implement policies, recruit and train personnel, monitor incidents, liaise with clients and stakeholders, ensure compliance with BS7858, and prepare budgets.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a security management role.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong knowledge of security systems, protocols, and best practices.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and make informed decisions in challenging situations.
• Relevant qualifications, such as a valid SIA Licence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive security policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the security team, ensuring high performance and compliance with company standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and site inspections to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
• Recruit, train, and manage security personnel, ensuring they are motivated and equipped to perform their duties effectively.
• Monitor, investigate, and report on security incidents, ensuring timely responses.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to maintain service excellence and address concerns promptly.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Prepare and manage security budgets as required.
