Job summary

Samsic UK Security is seeking a Regional Security Officer to cover Southampton & Christchurch with day and night shifts. The role requires strong customer service, professional presence, and the ability to liaise between client and company. You must hold SIA CCTV and Door Supervisor licenses, have the right to work in the UK, and be fluent in English.

A British passport is required for SC clearance. The position is permanent/full-time with a 24-hour work week expectation and shifts including

Qualifications

• Current SIA Licence - Door Supervisor or Security Guarding.
• Must hold a SIA CCTV license.
• Unrestricted right to work in the UK for 12 months.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Must have a British Passport for SC clearance.
• Five-year checkable history with HMRC work history.

Regional Security Officer Southampton at Samsic UK

We have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Security Officer to join our team in Southampton Area.

Must hold a SIA CCTV license for this job.

The suitable candidate must be a British National who has held a UK British Passport for the last 5 years, as this site will require SC Clearance vetting.

The purpose of the role is to provide an efficient and professional security service to Samsic UK Security’s clients as specified, demonstrating the highest levels of Customer Service; presenting at all times a smart, alert, visible and commanding security presence.

Flexibility is vital as you will be required to work day and night shifts (weekends, Bank Holidays)

Working Hours / Status

• Average Weekly Hours: 24 hours
• Contracted Hours: 24 hours per week.
• Employee Status: Permanent/ Full Time

You will be expected to cover Southampton & Christchurch..

Duties will include:

• “Meet and Greet”
• Answer all enquiries courteously and professionally
• Manage all systems within the security control base
• Ensure a vigilance, professional presence
• Produce accurate reports as and when needed
• Be an effective liaison between the client and the company Contract Manager
• Be an effective ambassador for Samsic UK Security and the client
• Excellent verbal communication skills, pleasant manner, approachable, clearly spoken
• Excellent customer care skills
• Have a good knowledge of Health & Safety
• Possesses computer literacy of at least a basic level
• Demonstrates basic numeracy and literacy skills for following instructions and preparing reports
• Demonstrates good observation skills
• Demonstrates a flexible attitude to changing working hours and patterns

In order to work for Samsic UK you MUST fulfil the following criteria:

• Current SIA Licence - Door Supervisor or Security Guarding
• Must Hold a SIA CCTV license
• Have an unrestricted right to work full time in the UK for a minimum period of 12 months
• Be fluent in spoken and written English
• Must have a British Passport, for SC Reasons
• Have a five-year checkable history (Providing a HMRC 5 Year Work History record at your interview)
