Job summary

Aspens Services is seeking an ambitious Area Chef Manager to take full operational and financial responsibility for the catering facility of the schools within your region. This role demands a visionary leader who delivers high-quality food, elevates dining experiences, and drives profitability across the operation.

You will manage GP, lead a kitchen team, and oversee menu development while maintaining health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Strong GP management and ability to smash sales targets.
• Craft skills with fresh ingredients to deliver quality food.
• Line management experience and motivational leadership.
• Excellent knowledge of health and safety practices.
• Full UK driving licence; OND/HND is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Financial Control: Managing and improving all controllable costs, including stock, food and labour.
• Team Leadership: Lead, coach, train and inspire your kitchen team to deliver excellence daily.
• Culinary Innovation: Oversee menu development and drive sales through promotions and events.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure standards, systems and legislation are met through audits and management.
