Regional Sales Manager – Flat Roofing Systems

Job Title: Regional Sales Manager – Flat Roofing Systems

Industry Sector: Building Envelope, Roofing, Flat Roofing, Single Ply Roofing, Liquid Applied Waterproofing, Waterproofing, Waterproofing Membranes, Roof Coatings, Green Roofs, Refurbishment Projects

Area to be covered: North & Scotland

Remuneration: £45,000 -£65,000 + uncapped commission circa £35,000

The role of the Regional Sales Manager will involve:

  1. Field sales position selling a range of liquid applied waterproofing systems for application such as roofs, walkways, balconies, terraces, car parks, roads and infrastructure.
  2. 50% of your time gaining specifications with predominantly building surveyors, local authorities, consultants, architects, health authorities, and other major specifiers.
  3. The remaining 50% of your time will be spent getting quick wins / following projects through to completion with specialist quality waterproofing contractors & roofing sub-contractors and installers.
  4. Inheriting a territory currently turning over £1.8m.
  5. Focusing on both refurbishment and new build projects.
  6. Typical projects include car parks, roads, hotels, healthcare, education, stadiums, facilities, and retail.

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager with:

  1. Must be from a building envelope or roofing background.
  2. Ideally flat roofing or liquid applied experience.
  3. Must have specification experience with architects, building surveyors, consultants, and specifiers OR have experience selling to main contractors.
  4. Ability to hunt for new projects whilst also building and retaining relationships.
  5. Ability to sell a technical solution rather than on price.
