Job summary

Cygnet Group in London is seeking an experienced Physical Intervention Instructor to join the Learning & Development team. You will deliver Physical Interventions training across the London & Kent region to staff in a range of services.

The role requires two years of clinical experience with restrictive physical interventions, a Level 1 instructor qualification, and familiarity with the Restraint Reduction Network standards.

Qualifications

We are looking for an experienced instructor to join the Learning & Development team.

You will be required to deliver Physical Interventions training throughout the London & Kent region to a range of staff in a variety of different services.

You will need:

• Minimum two years clinical experience involving the use of restrictive physical interventions
• To be a qualified Physical Intervention Instructor able to deliver West London NHS Restraint Reduction Pathway (known as PMVA)
• To be a level 1 instructor or similar
• To be familiar with the Restraint Reduction Network Training Standards
• To have experience in leading and delivering physical interventions training programmes.

You will have:

• Relevant instructor qualification
• Relevant experience in a training/teaching environment
• Hold professional qualifications in relevant subject areas
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
• Must hold a full driving licence and have access to own vehicle
