Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Quantity Surveyor for a regional main contractor in Warrington. The role focuses on commercial management of projects (£5m–£10m) with responsibilities spanning procurement, valuations and final accounts.

You will collaborate with project managers and site teams to monitor budgets, forecast costs and maintain commercial records, enjoying a substantial contribution to project margins and close-out.

Qualificações

• Experience as Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
• Experience with main contractor or regional builder.
• Knowledge of subcontract procurement, valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Experience managing project costs and producing financial reports.
• Understanding of construction contracts and risk management.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the commercial aspects of construction projects valued between £5m and £10m.
• Monitor project budgets, costs, cash flow and overall financial performance.
• Prepare cost reports, forecasts and regular commercial updates for senior management.
• Manage subcontractor procurement, tender enquiries, package comparisons and appointments.
• Prepare interim valuations and applications for payment.
• Assess subcontractor applications, valuations and payment notices.
• Identify, value and manage variations and additional works.
• Negotiate and agree subcontractor and client final accounts.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities to protect project margins.
• Work with project managers, site teams and wider commercial team.
• Ensure contractual procedures and project documentation are maintained.
