Are you someone with excellent leadership skills and a successful track record in underwriting complex Property portfolios?

We are recruiting a Property Portfolio Underwriting Manager for our Commercial Insurance business in the London and South East Region.

About the role:

As a Regional Property Portfolio Underwriting Manager, you will develop and execute the Region’s Commercial Property business plan. You will be a subject matter expert, solving complex problems and creating non-standard insurance solutions.

You will support your team through mentoring, training, and technical sign-offs, leveraging your high-level underwriting license. You will oversee business quality and ensure technical skills grow with market opportunities.

Desired skills and experience:

• Leadership, coaching, mentoring, and managing underwriting accounts
• Technical Property Underwriting expertise and portfolio management
• Developing strategic industry contacts and relationships
• Managing complex non-standard underwriting arrangements
• Understanding of the insurance industry and external regulations
