Job summary

Ormiston Academies Trust is seeking a Regional Commercial Procurement Manager to join our Procurement team and help deliver real value for the academies and communities we serve.

You will own a varied portfolio of procurement projects, lead tenders from design through to contract commencement, and build trusted relationships with schools, suppliers and key stakeholders across our region, while ensuring value for money and compliance with latest frameworks including the Procurement Act 2023.

Qualifications

• MCIPS qualification (or equivalent) and degree-level education.
• Extensive experience managing complex, concurrent tenders in public procurement.
• Strong knowledge of PCR2015/PA2023 and contracts/tendering processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end tenders from design through to contract commencement.
• Draft robust tender clauses and mitigate commercial risk.
• Provide business partnering support across a large academy customer base.
• Build trusted relationships with schools, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Provide assurance to Head of Commercial Procurement, National Leadership Group and Trustees on value for money and compliance.
