Job summary

Thames Valley Police invites applications for Prison Intelligence Officers (PIOs) within the South East Regional Prison Intelligence Team (SERPIT).

The role supports HMPPS and regional prisons, developing and sharing intelligence on national security and organised crime, with travel across Surrey and other locations as required. You will need strong communication, discretion and risk assessment skills, and be prepared for security vetting and UK driving responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Work within prisons in the South East, including Surrey, and travel as needed.

• Collaborate with HMPPS, Counter Terrorism Units and partner agencies.
• Record information accurately and manage risk with discretion.
