Job summary

Noble Foods Home of the Happy Egg Co. is seeking a Farm Area Manager for Scotland to oversee performance, productivity and compliance across multiple poultry farms. You will lead on bird health, welfare, biosecurity, and production planning, driving improvements and staff capability.

You will provide hands‑on leadership to farm supervisors, ensure SOP adherence, monitor KPIs, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver safe, efficient operations in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong practical understanding of poultry production, welfare, and daily flock management.
• Experience managing multi-site operations or delivering performance across large teams.
• Ability to monitor KPIs and act quickly to address issues.
• Confident in training and coaching teams to follow consistent routines.
• Knowledge of assurance schemes, welfare requirements, and compliance processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations across rearing and laying farms, ensuring consistent adherence to production targets.
• Monitor flock performance, including growth rates, feed conversion, egg production, mortality, and other KPIs.
• Coordinate SOP implementation across farms.
• Lead vaccination programs, disease prevention plans, and treatment strategies with veterinarians.
• Enforce strict biosecurity measures and conduct regular audits on hygiene and environmental standards.
• Provide leadership to farm supervisors and staff; train and coach teams.
• Ensure labour efficiency and timely workforce scheduling; drive safety culture.
• Collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve performance.
