Job summary

Huws Gray Plant & Tool Hire is seeking an Area Plant & Tool Fitter in Epsom to keep the fleet running smoothly and support branches across the region. You will maintain and repair plant and tool equipment, work with branches to streamline parts supply and costs, and train colleagues to stay up to date with the fleet.

The role requires a recognised plant servicing or maintenance qualification and a full UK driving licence, with opportunities for development within the group.

• Full UK driving licence is essential for this role.
• Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, inspect, and repair plant and tool equipment to high standards.
• Coordinate with local branches to supply or recover parts and reduce repair costs.
• Deliver technical training to colleagues to stay sharp and up to date.
• Trial new equipment and support fleet innovations.
• Contribute to the wider hire management team to keep operations running smoothly.
