Huws Gray Plant & Tool Hire in Basingstoke is seeking an Hire Driver/Fitter to join our team. You will drive and operate within customer sites, deliver and collect equipment, and support our branch operations with a tidy workshop and safe practices.

You will need a full UK driving licence and a positive, customer-focused attitude. The role includes on-the-job training and potential to gain a Class 2 licence through fully-funded training.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Positive attitude and a customer-focused approach.
• Willingness to undertake training to gain Class 2 licence.

Responsibilities

• Check kit and vehicles regularly to ensure safety and proper recording.
• Keep the workshop tidy and look after hire equipment at your branch.
• Handle deliveries and collections safely and efficiently.
• Assist customers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Support stock checks and assist team as needed.
