Job summary

Huws Gray Plant & Tool Hire in Coventry is recruiting a Plant & Tool Hire Fitter to maintain and repair equipment, ensuring it’s safe and ready to hire. You’ll carry out checks before and after hire, keep the workshop tidy and log inspections to support a well-run operation.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Experience in a similar fitter role is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a busy workshop environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on plant and tools to ensure safe, ready-to-use condition.
• Perform checks before and after hire to keep kit in top condition.
• Keep the workshop clean, tidy and safe, supporting a well-run space.
• Maintain maintenance records and log inspections accurately.
• Assist customers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Help with stock checks and support the team as needed.
