Job summary

Mane Contract Services is recruiting on behalf of a client for an experienced Regional Planner to join their Northern Region team, based in Chesterfield. You will ensure project programmes stay current, accurate and aligned with site management and regional leadership.

The role requires a strong background in civil engineering planning, practical site experience, and the ability to engage with project teams, manage change and support contractual claims within NEC frameworks.

Qualifications

• Experienced Regional Planner with civil engineering project delivery.
• Strong planning background with site exposure and NEC contracts.
• Proven ability to manage changes and contractual claims.

Responsibilities

• Undertake detailed monthly reviews of project programmes.
• Use planning software effectively, preferably Microsoft Project and ASTA.
• Keep programmes updated to reflect contractual requirements and progress.
• Review two-weekly look-ahead programmes.
• Review site records, notices and communications related to programme matters.
• Ensure submissions and acceptance processes comply with contracts.
• Review risk and opportunity registers and contractual obligations.
• Support site teams with entitlement protection and EOT claims.
• Provide planning advice on methods and engineering solutions.
• Support regional management in developing processes and systems.
• Provide pre-contract planning support for tenders and bid submissions.
• Mentor colleagues developing their careers.
