Job summary

Vets for Pets is seeking a Regional People Partner to drive the People Strategy across the region. You will work with Regional Directors, Practice Owners and the People Team to deliver regional plans that balance colleague experience and business performance.

You will travel 2–3 days per week across Northern Ireland, Scotland, North Wales and parts of England, with regular overnight stays and occasional visits to Handforth and Stafford offices.

Qualifications

• Proven HR Business Partnering experience within a retail or multi-site environment.
• Strong employee relations background with the confidence to coach and challenge stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to shape strategic people plans and manage day-to-day operational priorities.

Responsibilities

• Translate the People Strategy into impactful regional plans for engagement, retention and growth.
• Provide coaching, challenge and expert people guidance to build leadership capability.
• Use data and insights to identify trends, mitigate risks and improve engagement and effectiveness.
• Support workforce planning, succession planning and talent development with strong pipelines.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and Learning teams to attract and retain talent.
• Handle complex employee relations and policy application for leaders.
