Job summary

Abbeygate Search Ltd is seeking a Regional Payroll Lead to own payroll across UK and international entities, coordinating with third-party providers and internal stakeholders. You will oversee end-to-end payroll, perform reconciliations and ensure controls, reporting and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

The role offers broad ownership in a global finance setting, with a strong emphasis on process improvement and collaboration with HR, finance and external partners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of payroll experience across UK and international locations.
• Strong knowledge of PAYE, National Insurance and pensions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end payroll across multiple entities and countries.
• Review payroll outputs for accuracy before submission.
• Manage outsourced payroll providers and relationships.
• Post payroll journals and perform reconciliations.
• Support month-end reporting and payroll-related accruals.
• Ensure robust payroll controls and documentation.
