Job summary

Responsibilities

• Oversee regional paediatric training programme against national standards
• Collaborate with Head of School to lead NHS England mandate functions
• Lead specialty matters and address trainee/trainer concerns
• Manage recruitment to training posts and programmes
• Oversee postgraduate matters including assessment, progression, rotations and remediation
• Handle out-of-programme training and inter-deanery transfers
• Lead academic training and related workstreams
• Improve learner supervision, assessment and experience
• Engage faculty to secure educational outcomes now and in future
• Support whole-workforce transformation and multi-professional links
