Job summary

Balhousie Care Group seeks a Regional Nurse to travel between our Scottish care homes, delivering high-quality nursing care to residents with diverse physical and mental health needs. You will support on-site teams and ensure safety and comfort for all residents.

You will develop tailored care plans, administer medicines safely and use professional judgment to make critical clinical decisions, while maintaining compassionate, person-centred care and adherence to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Qualified RGN/RMN with a valid NMC pin.
• Experience in a care home environment is preferred.
• Organised with excellent communication and flexibility for shifts.
• PVG check is required and you must be eligible to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Travel to multiple care homes to provide resident care.

About the Role:

As a Regional Nurse, you'll travel to a number of homes across our portfolio to provide exceptional care to our residents, attending to their physical, psychological, and social needs to help us deliver the quality of care they deserve.

We'll rely on you to create a safe and supportive environment for residents with a range of physical and mental health needs, while also using your professional judgment to make critical clinical decisions. Your responsibilities will range from developing tailored care plans to providing medicine safely and ensuring excellence in all you do. You'll have the autonomy to do things the right way and be valued and respected for your contributions.

About You:

You should be a qualified RGN/RMN with a valid NMC pin and a good knowledge of the most up-to-date clinical practices. Experience as a staff nurse or registered nurse in a care home environment is preferred. What's just as important is that you're organised, have great communication skills, and are flexible enough to work shifts.
