Job summary

Impact Food Group is seeking an experienced Regional Operations Manager to oversee a portfolio of schools and drive high-quality catering across multiple sites. The role is field-based and requires travel between sites in the North Wessex Downs, M4 Corridor and surrounding areas.

Working days are Monday to Friday, with a 45-hour week and a 52-week contract. You will lead multi-site operations, support Chef Managers, manage budgets and contracts, and report on performance.

Qualifications

• Experience as Area Manager or Operations Manager in contract or retail catering, overseeing 8+ sites.
• Proven track record leading multi-site teams and managing people.
• Strong communication with kitchen teams and senior stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational skills and prioritisation.
• Proficient with Office tools, spreadsheets and presentations.
• Passion for fresh, contemporary food and service.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop teams to deliver outstanding results.
• Build relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Monitor and improve operational performance across the portfolio.
• Ensure food quality, hygiene, and compliance standards.
• Manage budgets, contracts, and financial performance.
• Support Chef Managers with HR and day-to-day operations.
• Present data, reports, and insights to show success.
