  • An understanding of the voluntary sector and the challenges and opportunities it presents.
  • An understanding of, and sensitivity towards, equality, diversity and inclusion.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
  • Experience using database monitoring systems and overseeing the collection, recording and collation of information, including statistical data for audit, research and performance reporting.
  • Strong organisational, planning and prioritisation skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the changing needs of services.
  • The ability to represent The Forward Trust in a positive, professional and credible manner.
  • A proactive, solution-focused approach, with the ability to identify key issues and respond effectively.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Experience of financial management, including the monitoring and management of project budgets.
  • The ability to engage effectively and sensitively with the client group.

Above all, you will be passionate about supporting people affected by drug and alcohol dependency, committed to improving lives and motivated to create a culture of excellence, accountability and continuous improvement across your region.
