Job summary

Amey in the United Kingdom is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support HMP Leicester and a regional patch of sites on a permanent, full-time basis. You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites, ensuring safety, compliance and reliable operations.

You’ll work a varied rota with weekend on-call responsibilities, driving a company van with fuel card, and opportunities for training, progression and long-term stability within a well-established contract.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Ability to work independently and use initiative.
• Basic health & safety and IT awareness are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned maintenance across multiple sites.
• Perform reactive maintenance to keep facilities compliant and running smoothly.
• Assist as an Authorised Person (training provided).
• Adhere to safety and security procedures at all times.
• Participate in on-call and weekend rota.
