Job summary

Tilbury Douglas is seeking an Internal Auditor to plan and deliver a comprehensive audit programme across our Midlands and South East operations. The role involves significant travel to sites and offices, with all business travel expenses covered.

You will work with office and project teams to strengthen IMS alignment across Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety and information security, driving continuous improvement and assurance across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and understanding of ISO Compliance.
• Risk reviews with qualitative risk scoring.
• Analytical and clear in audit reporting.
• Experience in Internal Audit against ISO standards.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook).
• Technical acumen and risk awareness.
• Independent working with teamwork capability.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver internal audits across Midlands and South East regions.
• Audit project management across sites, offices and services.
• Produce audit reports and agree corrective actions with stakeholders.
• Analyse audit outcomes and share lessons learned.
• Support management reviews with audit trend data.
• Assist with incident investigations and pre-qualification/bid support.
• Contribute to improvement of our Business Management Systems.
