Job summary

Elis UK Ltd is seeking a proactive First-Line HR & ER Support to help managers manage day-to-day employee relations across multiple sites. You will coach managers, apply policies consistently, and ensure accurate documentation of ER cases and meetings.

The role requires solid knowledge of UK employment law, effective stakeholder engagement, and the ability to deliver core HR training and compliance across the region.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of UK employment law and best practice.
• Experience handling employee relations in an operational, multi-site environment.
• Confident coaching of managers and influencing people practices.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• First-Line HR & ER Support: assist managers on day-to-day employee relations matters, including absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance cases, and attend meetings with accurate documentation.
• Consistency & Grip: apply HR policies consistently across sites and use standard templates to drive clear working methods.
• Tracking, Insight & HR Health Checks: maintain ER case logs, track themes by site, and deliver regular HR health checks.
• HR Training & Capability: coordinate and deliver core HR training across the region; support managers to build capability.
• Engagement & Support: support employee forums and local communications; maintain knowledge of UK employment law and best practice.
