Job summary

Kew Green Hotels is seeking an ambitious Area General Manager to support the Regional General Manager across East Anglia and the South East. You\'ll oversee a flexible group of three to four hotels, stepping in where leadership makes the biggest impact.

Travel between properties is required; a car allowance is provided. You\'ll partner with Hotel Managers to drive guest experiences, commercial performance and operational excellence, while contributing to regional strategy.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a multi-site General Manager or in a large, complex hotel operation.
• Strong leadership and talent development.
• Experience improving financial performance and operational efficiency.
• Understanding branded hotel operations, guest satisfaction and quality standards.
• Ability to analyse business performance and translate insight into action.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Resilience, adaptability in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Coach, develop and support Hotel Managers to strengthen leadership capability and deliver outstanding results.
• Improve commercial performance through revenue management, cost control and performance planning.
• Drive consistency across the portfolio, maintaining brand standards, compliance and operational excellence.
• Use performance data, guest feedback and business insight to identify opportunities and implement improvements.
• Lead change, support hotel openings, transitions and improvement projects.
• Build strong relationships with central support teams, owners and stakeholders to achieve shared objectives.
• Act as deputy to the Regional General Manager, contributing to regional strategy and wider initiatives.
