Job summary

Travis Perkins is seeking a Regional HGV Driver with a Class 2 licence to cover Brighton and Worthing. You will deliver building materials from the branch, load with HIAB, and manage around 14 drops daily, staying safe and professional on the road.

There are no evenings or overnights, with full-time permanent hours and a competitive salary plus a £250 monthly regional allowance and potential bonus up to £2,700 annually.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 driving licence with up-to-date CPC records.
• Category B licence held for at least 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials from the branch to local customers.
• Load and manage the HIAB, ensuring safe and legal loading.
• Make around 14 drops per day and return to the branch to reload as needed.

What will you be doing?

You'll be delivering building materials from our branch to local customers, making sure everything's safe and sound. You'll load up your vehicle with the HIAB, double-check it's all properly packed and legal, and then hit the road. As our face on the road, you'll keep it professional while making around 14 drops a day, then head back to the branch to reload when needed.

Who you are

• Requirements: You'll need a Class 2 driving license, up-to-date CPC records, and have held a Category B license for 12+ months)
• HIAB experience: Don't have HIAB experience? No problem! We'll fund your HIAB training.
• Customer-focused: You'll be confident building and developing relationships with customers.
• Safety-focused: You'll prioritize safety in every aspect of your work, completing tasks in a professional manner.
