Job summary

Travis Perkins is hiring a HGV Driver (Class 2) in Rickmansworth. You will deliver building materials, load with HIAB (training provided), and maintain safety and professionalism on the road. Expect around 14 daily drops and a path for ongoing development within a leading UK builders’ merchant network.

What will you be doing?

As a HGV Driver with Travis Perkins, you’ll be delivering building materials from our branch to local customers with a class 2 vehicle, making sure everything’s safe and sound. You’ll load up your vehicle with the HIAB (training provided), double-check it’s all properly packed and legal, and then hit the road. As our face on the road, you’ll keep it professional while making around 14 drops a day, then head back to the branch to reload when needed.

Who you are

• Requirements: You’ll need a Class 2 driving licence, up-to-date CPC records, and have held a Category B licence for 12+ months.
• HIAB experience: Don’t have HIAB experience? No problem! We’ll fund your HIAB training.
• Customer-focused: You’ll be confident building and developing relationships with customers.
• Safety-focused: You’ll prioritize safety in every aspect of your work, completing tasks in a professional manner.
