Job summary

Travis Perkins in Portslade near Brighton is seeking a Regional HGV Class 2 Driver to deliver building materials to local customers. You’ll load with HIAB, ensure loads are secure and legal, and complete around 14 drops a day while maintaining a professional approach.

Qualifications

You’ll need a Class 2 driving license, up-to-date CPC records, and have held a Category B license for 12+ months.
HIAB experience or training funded by the employer is available.
Customer-focused with ability to build relationships with clients.
Safety-conscious and professional in all tasks.

Responsibilities

Deliver building materials from the branch to local customers, ensuring loads are secure and on time.
Load using HIAB, verify everything is packed correctly and legal before departure.
Make around 14 drops per day and return to the branch to reload as needed.
Maintain a professional and courteous presence as the face of the company on the road.
