Job summary

Card Factory is seeking a Health & Safety Risk Advisor to support our Southern region. You will work with Store Managers and Regional Managers to provide practical safety guidance across a multi-site retail environment.

In this field-based role with regular travel and a company car, you will lead risk assessments, deliver induction training, investigate incidents and help develop safety policies and best practices across the business.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health.
• Experience in a Health & Safety role within a retail or multi-site environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage your diary and workload.
• Strong analytical skills using data and insight to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Approachable communicator who can explain complex issues practically.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical guidance and support on health and safety across a large portfolio of retail stores.
• Build relationships with operational teams; coach, challenge and influence positive behaviours.
• Identify risks during store visits; support risk assessments and on-the-ground coaching.
• Deliver induction training and support new store openings.
• Investigate accidents and incidents; identify root causes and share lessons region-wide.
• Monitor data, identify trends and provide targeted support to reduce risk.
