Principal People Recruitment is seeking a Health & Safety professional to support multiple sites across the North West. The role offers hybrid work with site visits and office support, backed by a strong health and safety function and clear progression paths.

Open to hands-on utilities experience or experienced H&S professionals, with NEBOSH qualifications preferred. A company car or allowance, pension and discretionary bonus are among the offerings.

Qualifications

• Proven Health & Safety experience in utilities, construction, civil engineering, highways or similar.
• Willingness to learn and progress within Health & Safety.
• Support and funding available for relevant qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide practical Health & Safety guidance across multiple sites.
• Collaborate with operational teams to raise safety standards.
• Conduct audits, inspections and risk assessments.
• Support incident investigations and implement preventive measures.
• Contribute to regional Health & Safety initiatives and culture.
